About the role
- Assist in producing short-form AI-generated videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels using tools like HeyGen, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, and CapCut
- Help source and develop content ideas rooted in AI trends, news, politics, and culture
- Write and edit captions and post copy that match each account's voice and platform style
- Support scheduling and publishing across multiple AI-themed accounts
- Track emerging AI tools, trends, and platform algorithm updates and share findings with the team
- Research relevant news and cultural moments to inform content calendars
- Assist in monitoring basic performance metrics and flagging what is working
- Work closely with Social Media Managers and content leadership on weekly priorities
- Participate in team check-ins and contribute ideas to content strategy discussions
- Support cross-account initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, preferably in communications, media, marketing, political science, or a related field
- Genuine interest in AI-generated content and familiarity with at least one GenAI video tool (HeyGen, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, CapCut, or similar)
- Active presence on TikTok and/or Instagram with an eye for what performs
- Interest in progressive politics, social justice, or advocacy and how AI intersects with those conversations
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Portfolio, class projects, or personal content examples are a plus but not required
