About the role

  • Use depth of expertise to lead work efforts that drive provider value by providing insightful analytics and consulting advice / services that drive decision making.
  • Understand analytics and articulate findings to providers that influence decision making behaviors, and train less experienced consultants on data interpretation and storytelling.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced consultants on data analysis, the application of complex techniques and best practices.
  • Plan and oversee analysis activities to generate strategic insight and solve business.
  • Plan and manage increasingly complex projects or work streams; make decisions about priorities, timing, scope and resources to execute on expected value.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with executive-level leadership that drives decision making.
  • Create and build senior-level provider relationships which may include periodic interaction with the C-suite.
  • Identify opportunities for follow-on work.
  • Support business development activities.
  • Assist with marketing, solution / proposal development and / or the sales process.
  • Improve existing products, service, tools, and methods in functional area of focus.
  • Determine which intellectual capital materials (e.g., case studies) should be leveraged for presentations or sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience across all functional areas of supply chain to include Procurement, Contracting, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory, and Accounts Payables strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with a healthcare provider /healthcare consulting firm preferred.
  • Demonstrate proven Project Management skills focusing on complex projects.
  • Ability to build strong strategic working relationships with both internal and external customers including suppliers and participating providers.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
