About the role
- Lead and manage a team of Account Executives supporting non-healthcare and Hospitality client relationships.
- Drive revenue growth by new business development, increasing contract utilization and penetration across assigned non-healthcare territories.
- Oversee team efforts to develop relationships, identify growth opportunities, and achieve same-store growth targets.
- Educate clients on contracting opportunities across Vizient’s comprehensive portfolio of products and services.
- Coach and mentor team members on selling, implementing, and optimizing contracts and solutions that deliver value.
- Support routine business reviews to communicate delivered value and uncover additional opportunities aligned to client goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely account data management and reporting within Salesforce.
- Communicate competitive threats, market dynamics, and client risks to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external executives to identify opportunities for new or expanded product and service offerings.
- Coach team members in building and maintaining effective relationships with Vizient suppliers and distributors.
Requirements
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Prior people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing sales or account management teams.
- Proven success driving revenue growth, contract utilization, and client retention in a non-acute or services-based environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, and executive communication skills.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and executive leadership.
- Proficiency using CRM systems, including Salesforce, to manage pipelines and account performance.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
