About the role
- Manage and lead a team responsible for sourcing strategy development and execution.
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including development and execution of contract plans.
- Develop sourcing strategies that reduce client spend and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive the development and delivery of measurable sourcing value for clients.
- Implement programs that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with operating guidelines, policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
- Evaluate business unit performance through data gathering, analysis, and interpretation of metrics.
- Lead client orientation, onboarding, and training related to sourcing programs.
- Collaborate with legal, analytics, sales/client executives, information and data services, and operations teams.
- Maintain key supplier relationships and lead complex supplier negotiations to support sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience leading strategic sourcing, contracting, or supply chain initiatives within healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen, including interpretation of complex financial results.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive value and revenue growth.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and complex negotiations.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Willingness to travel.
