About the role
- Ensure the development and maintenance of ServiceNow platform requests, raising the maturity of the ITOM module (per the responsibilities listed), with well-designed processes, solid governance, automation, and performance indicators that support business priorities.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Servers, probes, sensors, and patterns.
- Implement and maintain Service Mapping, defining topologies and relationships between services and infrastructure.
- Integrate ServiceNow with tools such as SCCM, Control-M, JIRA, and OAM, among others.
- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs, creating data sources, import sets, and transform maps to ingest external data.
- Perform technical troubleshooting and adjustments to data collection, connectivity, or transformation.
- Collaborate with clients and the internal team to ensure the technical success of deliveries.
- Document configurations, scripts, integrations, and implemented best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing in ServiceNow with a focus on ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration/Automation Engine).
- Experience with CMDB and CSDM, including service modeling, data source integration, normalization, and creating Dependency Views.
- Ability to lead workshops and technical interactions with multiple stakeholders, including infrastructure and operations teams.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Intermediate English for interactions with global teams, vendors, and documentation.
- Desired certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); CIS – ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management); CAD – Certified Application Developer.
