About the role
- Define architectures for cloud-based payment systems (Azure, AWS, or GCP), using microservices, serverless technologies and event-driven patterns.
- Establish integration standards for APIs (REST/gRPC), secure authentication (OAuth2, mTLS) and compliance with PCI-DSS and LGPD.
- Lead migrations of legacy systems to the cloud, optimizing cost, performance and security.
- Conduct proofs of concept (PoCs) for solutions such as real-time processing and fraud prevention using machine learning.
- Produce architectural diagrams (C4 Model, AWS Well‑Architected) and technical roadmaps for squads.
- Support security audits, capacity planning and definition of SLOs/SLIs for high performance.
- Share knowledge through workshops, mentoring and technical documentation.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields is a plus.
- Solid experience in systems architecture, with 3+ years working in cloud environments for payment platforms or fintechs.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Proficiency with containers (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS), IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
- Knowledge of financial security standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) and Central Bank regulations (PIX, Open Finance).
