Drive the implementation and execution of Retail Lubricants Marketing initiatives on the forecourt and lead delivery of lubricants category plans.
Address daily challenges related to Retail Lubricants and enhance profitability for VEB and the Retailers.
Ensure operational excellence in execution of sales and marketing of lubes on the forecourt.
Collaborate with sales, technical, operations, design and other internal stakeholders to keep the brand relevant and support brand promise.
Execute brand strategies and marketing plans, manage existing product portfolio and new product launches.
Manage day-to-day marketing activities including project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, campaign tracking and reporting.
Leverage business, category and brand marketing strategy into actionable plans to meet company objectives.
Participate in development of long-term planning to identify new business opportunities, markets and partners.
Implement marketing plans with internal and external suppliers on time and on budget; participate in sales and marketing presentations.
Maintain brand integrity across product lines and communications; develop and manage brand platform and guidelines.
Lead the Marketing lifecycle (PLM) for designated brands; prepare marketing objectives and schedules for product introduction and sales materials.
Work with Media to integrate media mix plans; develop and execute national advertising and promotional activities; manage third-party agencies.
Lead consumer and competitive insight research; produce competitive analysis; run brand audit studies and focus groups with partners.
Develop monthly and quarterly management reports; monitor and analyse business performance vs business goals and competition.
Assist with financial projections and budgeting; own pricing for relevant brands.
Travel extensively within the country; work with Pan African Marketing, Technical and other functions; manage indirect channels and OEM partnerships.
Requirements
Possess a BAC+5 qualification
Educational background: Business schools, Engineering schools, MBA, etc.
Preferably having experience in sales within a retailing business (+/- 2 years) in which he/she had manage retailers to achieve volume and financial targets.
Experience in team management and coaching with a special Achievement” profile
Driving license
