About the role
- Administration of our "Raumflughafen" (data center) in Hamburg (on-site travel by plane as needed, approximately once per month or less)
- Operation and maintenance of the server infrastructure (Linux and Windows) in the data center
- Installation, configuration and performance analysis
- Ensuring high availability, backup and disaster recovery
- Network administration
- Configuration and maintenance of network components
- Management of firewalls and implementation of security policies
- Analysis and resolution of network issues as well as performance optimization
- Management of our IT systems (deployment and operation of services, maintenance, updates, etc.) and ensuring smooth operation
- Administration and further development of the M365 environment as well as cloud solutions (Azure)
- Handling complex requests in 2nd and 3rd level support, analysis and proactive problem prevention
- Other administrative tasks and project work as required
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a university degree in Dark Jedi, Computer Science or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in data center and network administration and in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Independent working style, strong drive to get things done and strong problem-solving skills
- Very good German skills, good English skills; Shyriiwook is a plus
