About the role
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to define CI/CD pipelines and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies.
- Work on a roster basis shift - Day [8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.] / Evening [4:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.] / Night [12:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.].
Requirements
- University degree, or equivalent professional qualification in Software / System Engineering
- 1-3 years of enterprise-level knowledge in CI/CD, Git, AzureDevops, Jenkins, Build Tools
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker, K8s, helm)
- Infrastructure as Code / Config. Mgmt (terraform, ansible)
- Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
- Linux / Windows
- Working experience with cloud-based infrastructure in AWS or another cloud platform such AZURE/GCP
- Full-stack experience across databases, applications, web server, networking / proxies / firewalls
- Strong knowledge of security when operating in a cloud-based environment and the considerations for automation
- Having a AWS Cloud related certification will be added advantage
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or MySQL is a plus
- Competent in effectively communicating with all technical and nontechnical teams
- Natural desire to discover and learn new technologies & processes while proactively taking initiative & responsibility
- Should be a strong team player, self-driven & experience working with a geographically dispersed team
- Willingness to accept challenges and show a high level of enthusiasm
