About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for each business unit (Compound Semiconductor, Functional Materials, Thin Film, and Infrared)
- Analyze market trends for each business unit, competition, and key-customer technology roadmaps to identify opportunities and threats
- Work with HQ and various Vital sites to determine pricing strategies, product positioning, and sales tactics
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the business unit leaders and sales team
- Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing sales to existing customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and expansion strategies for organic growth
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market trends
- Ensure that sales activities comply with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achievement of revenue targets
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of industry-specific trends and market dynamics
- Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems
- Adept at managing budgets and financial performance
