About the role
- Bring Vita Industrial’s solutions to market by owning the entire sales process from early prospecting to deal closure
- Maintain relationships with accounts to secure expansion business in the assigned territory
- Travel throughout an assigned territory to secure business with new and existing customers
- Participate in networking events, attend trade shows, and develop long-term relationships with contacts
- Generate your own leads for new opportunities and follow-up on inbound leads
- Take ownership of the sales process including introduction presentations, product demos, proposal generation and follow up presentations, negotiations, and closing deals
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and ultimately closing deals to acquire new customers
- Maintain solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor landscape, and new product developments
- Ensure that brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectations
- Track sales goals and report results as appropriate in CRM system
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from college or university and 5 years’ Sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience working within or selling to large contractors in the construction industry, understanding project lifecycles, key stakeholders, and common challenges
- Proven track record of successful sales performance, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at various levels within an organization
- Prior experience in an Outside Sales or Field Sales role
- SalesForce CRM experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional networking and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment

- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of collaboration at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
