Assist the client’s CISO/Director of Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Operations Manager, and assigned Cybersecurity principal in implementing ZTA activities and Cyber Risk management (ZTA risk identification, mitigation recommendations, prioritization, controls, tools, and technology assessment)
Provide Cybersecurity Leadership advisory on ZTA Implementation Roadmap (Plan, Schedule, and Decks)
Conduct Cybersecurity Program and Architecture Risk Review
Provide Architect and Engineer support for ZTA Implementation activities
Perform independent gap analysis of existing processes and create recommendations for process refinement or new process execution(s)
Evaluate, recommend, and implement commercial hardware and software security products to augment and enhance enterprise cybersecurity program
Support integrated, dynamic cyber defense and deliver cybersecurity operational services
Research emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats to develop a way forward to meet organizational goals
Requirements
Physical or remote office space, phone, reliable internet connection that supports 2 Mbps or higher
A minimum of five (5) years working within a Principal Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer function
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing or evaluating Cybersecurity Architecture functions
Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship
Be available during regular business operating hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST)
Experience evaluating, recommending, and implementing commercial hardware and software security products to augment and enhance enterprise cybersecurity program
Experience with system, device, and application-level hardening and assessing the cybersecurity posture of software, hardware, and firmware
Experience supporting an integrated, dynamic cyber defense and leveraging cybersecurity solutions to deliver cybersecurity operational services
Experience researching emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats to develop a way forward to meet organizational goals
Ideal: ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 CGRC or CAP, ISACA CISM, ISACA CRISC, CompTIA CASAP+ or Security+
Ideal: B.S. in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity from an accredited University
