This is a remote position
Work includes support & routine operations, technical project management, and security assurance
Respond to helpdesk support tickets, manage staff access and accounts
Work on automation, internal software development, efficiency and cost reduction initiatives
Enhance security measures, monitor for threats, lead incident response, improve policies & procedures, provide training
Role may be tailored to candidate strengths and may include supervisory responsibilities for experienced candidates
Availability required each weekday around 9-11am Eastern Time
Start part-time and transition to full-time after at least 1 month (preferred)
Requirements
An adaptable, fast learner
Comfortable working mostly independently
Organized, with good project management skills
Strong communication skills
Comfort with evolving job functions
Preferred: 3+ years of experience in IT management, product/project management, or software development
Preferred: A security clearance (strongly preferred)
Preferred: Familiarity with security best practices and systems compliance
Preferred: Cybersecurity certification (CEH, GSEC, GMOB, GCFA, CISA, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, SSCP, ECSA, LPT, etc.)
