About the role
- Act as the named Company Secretary for public listed and proprietary entities.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the company secretarial function.
- Provide guidance on M&A and capital markets activities.
- Oversee and prepare materials for Annual General Meetings.
- Maintain statutory records for the Group’s entities.
- Ensure compliance deadlines are met with ASX and ASIC requirements.
- Manage direct reports and support their development.
- Liaise with regulators, shareholders, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Graduate in law, commerce or Company governance preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a Company Secretary or in a senior legal capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of company secretarial and legal requirements.
- Experience in reviewing legislation and the ASX Listing Rules.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in company secretarial software applications and electronic board portal systems.
