About the role
- Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a portfolio of clients
- Responsible for supervising a team of payroll associates/senior associates. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring their progress, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client companies, addressing their payroll-related queries, providing guidance on payroll processes, and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure accurate payroll processing; reviewing payroll reports, and identifying and rectifying errors or discrepancies.
- Assisting in training new staff members and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for team members
- Act as a trusted advisor for our clients
- Any other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree holder or above
- 4-5 years of relevant experience gained from professional services firm is an advantage
- Written English and oral English
- Able to provide coaching and guidance to other team members to ensure overall objectives are aligned and achieved
- Client service centric mind-set
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to deal with ambiguities and challenge status quo
- High professional integrity
