About the role

  • Deliver a high-quality outsourced financial control and financial reporting service including preparation of AASB compliant financial statements
  • Collaborate with the client’s finance team on daily processing, financial reporting, tax matters, entity management needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders
  • Ensure that financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with lawful and accepted procedures and policies
  • Prepare of monthly management accounts and manage the entire financial reporting process. This includes annual lifecycle planning, audit management & oversight, financial statement review and processing
  • Oversee and be responsible to coordinate with our offshore and onshore team to run the weekly vendor management and AP payment function
  • Coordinate the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client
  • Assist the team for entity governance function with ASIC for the client
  • Ensure all work performed by Vistra GSCs are performed in-line with agreed SLA’s
  • Identify operational improvement through standardisation, simplification, technology and use of GSCs

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of AASB Accounting standards
  • Ideally have knowledge of Fund investment structures in Australia
  • Have a high level of resilience and ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise
  • Experienced in managing corporate accounting function for a high-volume transaction client
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Takes a leading role in clear and effective communication with the client and across Vistra
  • Strong communicator to various stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, auditors and suppliers.
