About the role

  • Overseeing the maintenance, testing, and operational readiness of electrical components within a nuclear power plant.
  • Ensure that electrical components are qualified and maintained in accordance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve component issues.
  • Participate in the design and modification of electrical systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant job experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation and distribution systems.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including breakers, relays, transformers, generators, motors, and cables.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as CAD and simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
