About the role
- Overseeing the maintenance, testing, and operational readiness of electrical components within a nuclear power plant.
- Ensure that electrical components are qualified and maintained in accordance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve component issues.
- Participate in the design and modification of electrical systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant job experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation and distribution systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including breakers, relays, transformers, generators, motors, and cables.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as CAD and simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
