About the role
- Overseeing all efforts related to prior authorization for medications
- Manages and oversees medication access and affordability services
- Recruits, hires, trains, and develops team members
- Provides ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance management for staff
- Establishes, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Serves as a liaison between internal leadership and external stakeholders
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience working with healthcare providers on strategic and operational initiatives
- State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration obtained within 6 months of hire
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and client relationship skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
