About the role

  • Serves as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Virtuoso’s Cornerstone Learn platform.
  • Responsible for the governance, configuration, optimization, and performance of the LMS.
  • Provides functional leadership for learning management system operations.
  • Directly supervises one direct report.
  • Ensures the LMS remains scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives and best practices.
  • Administers and oversees the configuration, architecture, and optimization of Cornerstone Learn LMS.
  • Establishes and maintains LMS governance standards, workflows, permissions structures, and best practices.
  • Evaluates and implements system updates, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Ensures system integrity, scalability, accessibility, and data security.
  • Designs and maintains LMS reporting frameworks and dashboards.
  • Provides actionable insights on learner engagement, completion rates, and participation trends.
  • Ensures data accuracy and consistency across system records.
  • Serves as primary relationship owner with Cornerstone OnDemand.
  • Manages system upgrades, release cycles, and support escalations.
  • Evaluates LMS-related tools or enhancements within the Cornerstone ecosystem.
  • Establishes priorities, reviews deliverables, and ensures quality and timeliness of LMS operations.
  • Serves as escalation point for complex system or configuration issues.
  • Partners with Professional Development, IT, and other stakeholders to align LMS capabilities with business needs.
  • Supports change management and communication related to LMS updates or enhancements.
  • Promotes effective adoption and utilization of the LMS across the Virtuoso network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4–7 years of experience administering Cornerstone Learn strongly preferred.
  • Preference given to Cornerstone Certification holders (Core System and Learning Management)
  • Experience implementing system releases, managing system configurations and permissions, reporting frameworks, EDGE integrations and APIs, and vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in creating Cornerstone custom pages, and basic HTML.
  • Adobe Photoshop experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and lead projects
  • Knowledge of travel industry preferred.
