About the role
- Responsibility for the testing laboratories within the Material Testing Business Unit in Germany
- Organizational and disciplinary leadership of the plant managers and/or managing directors of the individual sites
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities (new industries, customer segments, tenders, etc.)
- Promote cross-selling and collaboration within the Business Unit and across the entire corporate group
- Strengthen market presence and actively support sales
- Ensure adherence to budgets and business plans
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in material testing
- Ideally with a focus on non-destructive testing (NDT), materials analysis, or quality assurance in an industrial environment
- High willingness to travel (3–4 days/week)
- Excellent German and English skills; additional languages are a plus
- Solid experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes
