About the role
- Manage Villa’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales team consisting of Home Consultants, with the opportunity to expand and build the sales organization as Villa’s D2C channels scale.
- Drive D2C fee-building sales for homeowners building ADUs statewide in California and with our partners in Colorado, and single family homes for individuals rebuilding in Altadena.
- Own all aspects of the sales performance of Neighborhoods by Villa developments across California and Colorado.
- Manage Villa’s relationships with partner brokerages for our developments, and help execute Villa’s sales and marketing strategy in conjunction with these brokerages.
- Continue to refine Villa’s end-to-end customer experience across our digital surfaces, in our model homes, and in interactions with our Home Consultants.
- Partner with Villa’s marketing team to drive engaging consumer content and campaigns, and iterate on those campaigns to broaden Villa’s reach and increase customer conversion.
- Manage Villa’s relationship with partner consumer lenders across our ADU, Altadena, and Neighborhoods by Villa portfolio.
- Work hand in hand with Vila’s estimating, legal, and preconstruction teams to ensure the validity and accuracy of proposed consumer building projects from project inception to contract.
- Monitor, report, and drive D2C performance metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the VP of Growth to develop quarterly OKRs and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years sales experience, preferably working directly with consumers in residential real estate or homebuilding, demonstrating proven results of hitting and exceeding goals.
- Proven sales management experience leading consumer-facing sales professionals, combined with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration with business operations, legal, product, and other core teams.
- Experience building sales pipelines, customer outreach cadences, automation, and robust reporting in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy interacting with people via phone, email, and social media to articulate ideas and gain their trust. You have experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate attention to detail.
- A track record of personal accountability and a high standard of integrity and professionalism. You’ve demonstrated resilience and a desire to succeed in the face of new and/or unforeseen challenges.
- Demonstrates and embodies a “find a way” mentality to hit goals and deliver results.
- Low-ego team player with a strong desire to strengthen and improve internal processes. You bring a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and a willingness to step in wherever needed, contributing across a broad range of responsibilities to move the company forward.
- A desire to learn, grow, and get in on the ground floor of a company that is changing housing.
- Receptive to feedback, with a willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement.
- Background/fluency in homebuilding, residential real estate, or real estate brokerages is a strong bonus.
