About the role
- Lead customer, community and stakeholder engagement across all public transport modes, focusing on rail.
- Manage ministerial and parliamentary correspondence, policy briefs, and government relations.
- Provide clear, strategic advice on complex issues.
- Build strong relationships across the transport sector, government, and operators.
- Guide teams, oversee processes, and use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure timely, high-quality advice and engagement, improve operations, support leadership decisions, and deliver better outcomes for the public.
Requirements
- Qualification or equivalent proven experience in stakeholder engagement and communication. (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in developing high quality customer responses and/or communications using clear and concise language. (mandatory)
- Experience in developing and embedding processes and procedures that drive continuous improvement outcomes. (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative working across senior internal stakeholders and external parties. (mandatory)
