About the role
- Lead and manage teams to provide strategic advice to the Premier, Secretary, and senior executives
- Oversee delivery of timely, accurate, and quality advice to the Secretary of DPC and the Premier
- Review policy proposals, undertake policy analysis, and assess the impact of government decisions and actions
Requirements
- Extensive experience and a successful track record in providing authoritative, high quality and timely policy advice
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities
- Experience in law, public policy or a related field would be advantageous
- Appropriate tertiary level qualification is highly desirable
