About the role
- Lead the development and delivery of advisory services
- Build capability across teams and implement strategies, frameworks, and programs that enhance workplace safety
- Engage with senior stakeholders and provide expert guidance
- Leverage incident management system and other Health and Safety Management tools
- Drive safety programs targeting key risks and partner with business and people services to deliver evidence-based solutions
- Analyse data to inform risk management
- Ensure consistent, effective safety measures and conduct audits and inspections
- Mentor staff and contractors
- Develop compliant processes to continually improve safety performance, support teams, achieve business objectives, and minimise operational and financial risk.
Requirements
- Mandatory Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field
- Ability to travel and work across locations within metropolitan and regional Victoria as required.
- Desirable Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419)
- Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
- Experience in environmental health and safety risks
