About the role
- Coordinating and providing expert advice to develop, maintain, and support working relationships with Registered Aboriginal Parties and Aboriginal stakeholders.
- Acting as a subject matter expert guiding colleagues on culturally appropriate engagement approaches.
- Supporting integrated transport planning and decision making across regional strategies.
- Building and maintaining respectful partnerships within the Gippsland region.
- Coordinating regional delivery of actions in cultural safety plans and self-determination plans.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Aboriginal studies, public policy, community development, or related discipline are desirable.
- Experience working in or alongside Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations or Traditional Owner groups is preferred.
- Driver’s License.
