About the role

  • Independent analysis, evaluation and commentary of contracts for energy facility projects
  • Holistic contract management across the complete project lifecycle in collaboration with project management and relevant departments
  • Development of project- and supplier-specific claim strategies in coordination with the Head of Contract Management and executive/project management
  • Management and operational implementation of measures to assert or defend claims for additional costs, as well as handling performance changes and construction schedule disruptions
  • Support in schedule, cost and performance control
  • Assessment of opportunities and risks based on the contract and project progress
  • Support in the development of processes, and further development of existing processes and strategies in claim management
  • Operational interface between departments, project teams and stakeholders and the Head of Contract Management
  • Compliance with and application of relevant standards and regulations for occupational safety and accident prevention, environmental protection and data protection
  • Adherence to the core values and foundations of VINCI Energies

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, law or business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience (approx. 2 years) in contract and claim management for large construction projects, ideally in infrastructure or renewable energy
  • Strong knowledge of the applicable legal frameworks (BGB, VOB, etc.)
  • Advanced contractual, commercial and technical knowledge
  • Structured, reliable and analytical way of working
  • Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented approach
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Driving license class B
  • Willingness to travel (to projects as required)
