About the role
- Implementation of customer projects in the field of industrial IT
- Development of security concepts
- Software and operating system installations; troubleshooting of customer systems
- Administration of Windows servers and visualizations using VMware
- Maintenance and testing of visualization system IT and close collaboration with the PLC (SPS) department
- Supporting customers remotely and on site with application issues
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., trained as an IT specialist/Fachinformatiker or IT systems electronics technician)
- Several years of relevant professional experience and technical experience in on-site service as well as 2nd level support
- Ideally experience working on customer projects in the public sector or industrial environment
- Knowledge of Windows and Windows Server
- Willingness to pursue continuous training in Siemens network components
- High self-motivation, strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently
