About the role

  • Responsible for the economic success of the business unit with approximately 80 employees.
  • Proactively manage the unit with attention to market developments and current trends.
  • Provide technical direction and drive the ongoing development of the business unit.
  • Hold technical and disciplinary responsibility for the employees.
  • Monitor results and manage the project portfolio.
  • Acquire new, innovative projects and build a sustainable customer management approach.
  • Oversee personnel planning for the business unit and ensure the high-quality development of expert teams.
  • Handle technical execution of contracts and equipment investments.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, energy/network infrastructure engineering, or a comparable professional/academic background.
  • Several years of professional experience in construction-related project business.
  • Several years of solid technical and disciplinary leadership responsibility.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and acting style; team player, confident, service-oriented, resilient, decisive and strong communicator.
  • Independently acquired new customers and projects, negotiated proposals and closed deals on their own.
  • Several years of responsibility for cost centers and Profit & Loss in productive project business.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Fluent German spoken and written; English skills are welcome.
