About the role

  • Responsible for bringing VF owned brand equipment and packs designs to life by engineering products for efficient manufacturability
  • Work hands-on with factory and VF cross function ensuring commercialization best practice feedback is captured early within the Product development cycle
  • Create in partnership with the vendor to ensure product readiness to hand-off to VF production teams
  • Drive vendor/factory to conduct Pre-Production Meeting and handoff the production readiness process to VF Quality Operations and Sourcing Operation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing or technical or production environments
  • Degree holder in Textiles, Eq./Apparel/ Footwear related fields
  • Subject Expert In: Equipment and accessories, LEAN manufacturing, Automation, patterns, laboratory standards and testing / materials
  • Knowledge of Equipment and Accessories with a key focus on the all technical constructions, laboratory testing, material performance, fit and wear, LEAN production, automation and speed development
  • Strong understanding of paper patterns creation and an understanding of digital product creation will be a strong advantage
