About the role
- What you will do👜
- Negotiating and drafting contracts relating to our e-commerce and marketplace activities covering software/technology/AI, payments, transport and warehouse operations
- Advising on e-commerce and marketplace regulations (including DSA, P2B, PSD2, GPRS, NIS2, EU AI Act and Customs)
- Managing legal topics relating to general business and commercial matters
- Where needed, manage and communicate with external law firms and other service providers
Requirements
- Who you are ⭐
- University Degree and legal qualifications
- 6 to 12 years post qualification experience (In-House or Law Firm)
- Strong ability to operate autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a start-up type environment, managing internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in French and English (written and oral)
- International exposure
- Ability to be practical and business-minded with an ability to present to internal stakeholders with real-world, pragmatic advice
- Excellent legal and commercial awareness, drafting and negotiating skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
- Preferred: E-commerce, Marketplace, Luxury goods or technology industry background or exposure
