About the role

  • Finance Leadership: Working closely with the CFO, lead the finance team day-to-day, owning and delivering on finance priorities
  • Support in execution of M&A and corporate finance
  • Financial Control and Management: Own and deliver all management reporting and board-level financial insights
  • Ensure financial systems, controls, and tools support scalable growth
  • Implement appropriate cost control policies and suggest new approaches to margin improvement
  • Financial Planning and Commercial Finance: Oversee budgeting, forecasting across the business
  • Drive margin and profit improvement, with a hands-on approach
  • Partner with operations and project teams to optimise pricing, efficiency and resourcing of our projects
  • Help build a culture of commercial accountability and data-led decision-making across the organisation

Requirements

  • Proven finance leadership experience in a management consultancy, consultancy-based marketing services, or other time-based professional services business
  • Demonstrated success in improving finance process efficiency and in a finance business partner, FP&A or commercial finance role
  • Track record of contributing at a senior level
  • Experience in M&A, fundraising, strategic planning and international operations is beneficial
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, and innovation-led setting
  • Strong technical grounding with ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
