Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams to gather and analyze requirements for regulatory submissions.
Support the preparation and filing of reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., FRB, OCC, FDIC).
Ensure data accuracy and completeness in reports such as Basel III, CCAR, COREP, and other capital adequacy frameworks.
Assist in implementing and maintaining reporting tools and automation solutions.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on reporting processes.
Develop and maintain a centralized repository for MRA/MRIA documentation.
Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Ensure proper categorization, metadata tagging, and indexing of documents for efficient retrieval.
Liaise with internal audit and compliance teams to track remediation efforts and deadlines.
Facilitate change management and user training for document management systems.
Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
Conduct gap analysis and root cause investigations for reporting discrepancies.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support QA teams with test case development.
Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment on project goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
Strong experience preparing regulatory packages (closure narrative, traceability matrix, and aligning all artifacts in the clients document management system).
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and reporting obligations.
Experience with document management systems and workflow automation.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
