Security Engineer

• Act in the prevention of workplace accidents and occupational diseases by identifying, assessing and controlling risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and other occupational health and safety (OHS) legislation.
• Perform technical activities of medium to high complexity (when applicable), support the implementation of health and safety programs, conduct trainings, inspections and accident/incident investigations, and advise managers and employees on adopting safe practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and promote a safe, healthy and legally compliant work environment.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify occupational hazards, proposing corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare, update and monitor OHS programs and documents (PGR, LTCAT, APR, PT, inspection reports, Fire Safety documentation, among others).
• Monitor OHS indicators and support continuous improvement actions through the development and management of Action Plans.
• Investigate medium-complexity accidents and incidents, recommending preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
• Deliver trainings and guide employees on safe occupational health and safety practices.
• Support internal and external audits related to occupational health and safety.
• Control and monitor the use of PPE and collective protection equipment (EPCs), ensuring their compliance and availability.
• Participate in change analyses, technical inspections and internal committees.
• Manage CIPA through participation in meetings and campaigns focused on the work practices of CIPA members.
• Contribute to strengthening the safety culture and raising awareness among operational teams.
