About the role
- Maintenance and Creation of construction line items used for estimating.
- Take incoming phone calls and email from customers with questions about the construction database.
- Validation of line items and prices with each monthly publication.
- Research and understand how sales tax is applied to construction related services.
- Any other special projects deemed necessary.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years hands on experience in the construction field, including experience as an estimator, construction project manager, or general contractor.
- Knowledge of construction practices and installation techniques a must.
- Experience in working with software estimating applications and Microsoft Excel.
- Extreme attention to detail a must.
- Degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to establish and measure personal goals.
- Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic.
