About the role

  • Process and manage payroll for our teachers and administrative staff.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
  • Support managers' recruitment efforts.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with benefits administration, enrollment, COBRA, and open enrollment communications.
  • Handle general HR inquiries to provide employees with information on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Generate HR reports, track key metrics, and support performance management processes.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, recognition programs, and HR projects.
  • Coordinate regular HR communications such as holidays and open enrollment deadlines.

Requirements

  • Being conversant with and supportive of the Reformed Faith and Classical Education from a Christian worldview is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of experience in an HR role or HR certifications desired.
  • Experience with ADP WorkForce Now platform desired.
  • Experience with processing payroll.
  • Able to work diligently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of information.
  • Skilled with typical MS Office Suite products, Gmail, general computer skills, etc.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • General account/bookkeeping experience is helpful.
