About the role
- Achieve sales targets established by leadership, driving growth in key applications within the water and wastewater industry.
- Develop and execute the annual business plan in collaboration with OpCo and LatAm sales teams, defining marketing tactics and commercial action plans aligned with growth objectives.
- Act as a strategic liaison between sales, business units, product development, and marketing, channeling relevant technical and market information.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in associated applications and products, particularly in flow measurement and water treatment processes.
- Actively participate in priority commercial opportunities, providing advanced technical consulting and support in complex applications.
- Train and coach internal teams, customers, and channel partners on process instrumentation, flow optimization, and water treatment applications.
- Provide on-site support to field sales and partners in complex technical cases.
- Collect, analyze, and present information during Problem Solving Review (PSR) meetings.
- Develop technical marketing content and value propositions to support transformational and digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to define and execute strategies in assigned vertical markets.
- Represent the company at technical seminars, trade shows, and industry events.
- Provide technical support in meetings with environmental agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Manage and keep opportunities updated in the CRM system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical applications, consultative sales, or similar roles within the water industry, industrial processes, or analytical instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and flow measurement.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and production processes in industries such as Food & Beverage, municipal, or chemical.
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Intermediate to advanced English (reading, speaking, and writing).
- Availability for frequent travel.
