About the role

  • Prospect and qualify leads, building a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Manage a set of smaller accounts independently, ensuring retention and growth
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to new prospects
  • Use Salesforce.com to document activities, manage pipeline, and forecast accurately
  • Assist RSMs in managing large and complex accounts, including joint visits and proposals
  • Build relationships with local influencers, including engineers, distributors, and consultants
  • Participate in trade shows, customer seminars, and events to represent Hach and gather market feedback

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred, ideally in a science or technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar)
  • 1–3 years of sales, customer service, or technical support experience
  • Strong communication, customer engagement, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
