About the role
- Prospect and qualify leads, building a pipeline of new opportunities
- Manage a set of smaller accounts independently, ensuring retention and growth
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to new prospects
- Use Salesforce.com to document activities, manage pipeline, and forecast accurately
- Assist RSMs in managing large and complex accounts, including joint visits and proposals
- Build relationships with local influencers, including engineers, distributors, and consultants
- Participate in trade shows, customer seminars, and events to represent Hach and gather market feedback
Requirements
- BA/BS preferred, ideally in a science or technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar)
- 1–3 years of sales, customer service, or technical support experience
- Strong communication, customer engagement, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous
- Ability to travel up to 40%
