About the role
- Design & develop Agentforce patterns (prompts, tools/actions, flows) on Salesforce to support service scenarios (case deflection, entitlement checks, escalation routing, field-service guidance)
- Integrate agents with Service Cloud data models (Cases, Knowledge, Entitlements), OM/CPQ objects, and external services via Platform Events, Apex, and Flow
- Harden agents for scale: guardrails, data access policies, evaluation harnesses, fallback behaviors, observability (dashboards/telemetry)
- Partner with product owners to translate service playbooks into agent capabilities; run experiments and A/B tests; document best practices
- Ship iteratively using DevOps: source control, automated testing, CI/CD, environment strategy (sandboxes), and release management
- Measure outcomes: adoption, resolution time, deflection rate, agent reliability, and user satisfaction—then improve
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL)
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (community sites, portals) and strong HTML/CSS skills for UI customization
- Proven delivery on Service Cloud (Cases, Knowledge, Entitlements) and Field Service/ServiceMax integrations or equivalent service platforms
- Experience building automation/AI-enabled solutions inside Salesforce (Einstein, Prompt Builder, skills/tools/actions, agent flows)
