About the role

  • Support and evolve our platforms and systems
  • Responsible for building and deploying solutions and services in On-premises and Hosted environment
  • Support Azure environments used by the Dev/QA teams
  • Knowledge of secure DevOps practices related to builds, github actions, infrastructure creation, security compliance, etc
  • Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Able to work with developers supporting both modern and legacy applications
  • Comfortable with debugging build failures and deployment issues
  • Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Capable of mentoring junior DevOps team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably across development, operations and infrastructure
  • Experience with version control (Github environments, GitHub expertise and GIT workflow best practices)
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with hands on experience with Github actions
  • Expertise in Azure cloud platforms including compute, storage and networking, Identity and Access management and Monitoring and alerting
  • Strong experience with Terraform for managing Azure infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Azure specific resources (App services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, etc.
  • Strong scripting skills in Powershell, Python or Bash
  • Experience writing deployment scripts, cleanup routines, log parsers and tooling for development teams
  • Experience supporting applications built in Vb6, delphi and .net (framework and core)-build and deployment automation
  • Ability to work around outdated or manual build process
  • Experience with Monitoring and logging tools like Azure monitor/Application insights, Log analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
