About the role

  • Lead architecture and improvements of cloud-based infrastructure environments
  • Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments
  • Define monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies
  • Drive improvements in cloud cost optimization and resource utilization
  • Establish best practices for cloud security and operational governance
  • Lead investigation and resolution of complex production incidents
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance
  • Mentor Systems Engineers and guide operational practices

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience managing cloud-hosted systems
  • Strong experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Strong familiarity with AWS services is preferred given the current platform
  • Experience designing scalable and resilient cloud environments
  • Strong experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon RDS (MS SQL) and familiarity with Amazon Redshift or large-scale data systems
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
  • Deep operational knowledge of Linux and Windows VM environments including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Strong experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Good to Have: Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices beyond CloudFormation
  • Good to Have: Experience with container orchestration technologies
  • Good to Have: Familiarity with healthcare technology environments
