About the role

  • Develop compelling, differentiated messaging for Veracode’s AI opportunity and product and our market leading SAST solution portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment with Veracode's broader brand and value proposition.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to identify market trends, customer pain points, and competitive differentiation.
  • Provide actionable insights to the product management team to influence roadmap decisions.
  • Deliver enablement for sales on competitive positioning.
  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for SAST and Fix, including product launches and cross-functional alignment with marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain buyer personas, use cases, and customer journey maps.
  • Create high-impact sales tools, including battle cards, presentations, demo scripts, and case studies, to ensure sales teams can effectively position and sell the solutions.
  • Deliver training to internal teams and partners to maximize their product knowledge and confidence.
  • Partner with the demand generation team to develop campaigns that drive pipeline growth, including webinars, white papers, blogs, and email programs.
  • Collaborate on content development to ensure alignment with product marketing strategies.
  • Partner with customer success and account teams to identify and amplify customer success stories.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, ensuring their feedback influences product development and messaging.
  • Establish Veracode as a leader in application security through thought leadership content like blogs, white papers, and speaking opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years in product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or developer-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with application security, cloud security, application security posture management, and secure software development lifecycle is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messaging.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A technical background or MBA is a plus.
