About the role
- Regularly and routinely required to work off site and travel to visit prospects, leads, and customers to obtain orders, maintain business and generate new business
- Field and place customer calls and emails to accept orders and shipments and provide shipment updates when needed
- Engage customers daily via phone, e-mail, or face-to-face meetings
- Provide rates to customers for potential orders and shipments
- Update customer websites with order and shipment information
- Communicate shipment changes and status between the customer and our Operations team
- Ability to stay focused in a busy, loud environment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task between multiple accounts at any given time during the day
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- General computer skills- typing, emailing, faxing
- Ability to describe our services in a professional language
