About the role

  • - Manage bookkeeping workflows to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and supported by relevant documentation;
  • - Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable;
  • - Perform account reconciliations and review expenses for compliance with company policies;
  • - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings;
  • - Support day-to-day finance department activities;
  • - Work with modern fintech technologies and payment gateways, including Sage Intacct, Payhawk, Wise, Stripe, and Adyen;
  • - Process client hardware orders and warranty claims, providing occasional evening support for US-based customers;
  • - Communicate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers;
  • - Assist in process automation.

Requirements

  • - Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills;
  • - High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • - Advanced English proficiency;
  • - Proactive problem-solving skills and outstanding communication abilities.
  • **Preferred qualifications (Nice to have):**
  • - Relevant academic background or practical experience in accounting or finance;
  • - Portuguese language proficiency;
  • - Knowledge of Portuguese accounting and bookkeeping practices.
