About the role
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.
- Deep command-line and system-level administration of RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
- Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and hardening of Linux systems.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Lead infrastructure strategy, roadmap development, and solution design reviews.
- Scripting for automation and integration (bash, Python, YAML).
- Kubernetes deployment, scaling, monitoring, and cluster management.
- Automation of infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop end-to-end DR strategy including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build cloud-native solutions for startups and enterprises.
Requirements
- Minimum 12-15 years in designing and managing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
- Linux Administration
- Proven experience in developing end-to-end infrastructure architectures for enterprise-level environments.
- Backup planning and Architecture
- Disaster Recovery planning and Architecture
- Kubernetes deployment, scaling, monitoring, and cluster management.
- Writing and maintaining complex Bash and Python scripts for administration tasks.
- Experience with both on-premises and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
