  • We are seeking a Data Manager to join our team and support a leading global automotive manufacturer in the strategically critical area of predictive maintenance. This role will be responsible for leading a team to support the client with data strategy, governance, and enablement, ensuring large-scale automotive and aftersales data can be effectively curated, structured, and leveraged to generate predictive insights.
  • You will play a pivotal role in aligning technical and business teams, prioritizing initiatives, validating ideas through experimentation, and enabling the integration of predictive maintenance use cases into operational processes. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive measurable impact.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • . Support for client to identify high value predictive maintenance use cases, and establishing an experimentation pipeline to validate them
  • . Oversee the curation, categorization, and governance of large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, usability, and compliance.
  • . Define and prioritize the roadmap for data initiatives in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • . Partner with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product, and after sales specialists) to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • . Translate business needs into clear data requirements and ensure they are actionable.
  • . Develop and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of predictive maintenance data initiatives.
  • . Ensure scalability and sustainability of data processes and infrastructure.
  • . Mentor and guide data team members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • . Proven experience as a Data Manager, Data Lead, or similar leadership role in data and analytics.
  • . Strong expertise in data governance, curation, and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions.
  • . Experience collaborating with technical and business teams to translate requirements into actionable initiatives.
  • . Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple stakeholders and competing demands.
  • . Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • . Strategic thinker with a product mindset and focus on delivering measurable business value.
  • Nice to have
  • . Experience in the automotive sector, IoT, or predictive maintenance applications.
  • . Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Exposure to data science, advanced analytics, or MLOps practices.
  • . Previous experience with CRM or lead management systems.
  • . Strong knowledge of project management tools and practices.
