About the role
- Achieve quarterly and annual business development and revenue targets through GSI-led opportunities.
- Build and deepen relationships with a select portfolio of GSIs i.e. Kyndryl, DXC, Accenture, TCS, ATOS.
- Identify, qualify, and progress joint opportunities with GSI/SI engagement teams and Veeam Enterprise Sales/Pre-Sales teams.
- Drive awareness of Veeam solutions within GSI organizations through enablement sessions, marketing collaboration, and executive engagement.
- Partner with EMEA marketing, sales, pre-sales, inside sales, and global GSI teams to execute joint initiatives.
- Maximize sales through GSI/SI ecosystems, including resellers, CSPs, and technology alliances (e.g., HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft).
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and progress updates in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of GSI and SI business models, organizational structures, and executive networks.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development within an IT/software vendor or GSI or partner environment.
- Proven track record of building strategic partnerships, creating pipeline, and closing complex deals.
- Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
