About the role
- As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining core digital marketing initiatives that directly support business growth
- This includes ownership of website updates through Optimizely, email marketing execution, CRM lead flow alignment, and creation of actionable reporting using CRM and operational systems such as Optimizely and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Maintain, update, and optimize all company websites using Optimizely CMS, including pages, blocks, assets, forms, and templates
- Build and publish landing pages using existing templates and content blocks
- Monitor site performance, SEO health, and analytics
- Apply SEO fundamentals, including metadata, headings, alt text, accessibility, internal links, and URL hygiene
- Support GEO (Geographic SEO) by updating localized content, local landing pages, and regional variations
- Support AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) by formatting content for featured snippets, FAQs, and structured content formats
- Collaborate with IT for basic technical updates, resource changes, and troubleshooting
- Build, deploy, and optimize email campaigns using Constant Contact and/or D365 Customer Engagement (CE)
- Use AI tools for subject line optimization, content suggestions, personalization, and engagement scoring
- Develop automated journeys and nurture flows
- Manage audience segmentation, subscriber lists, and data hygiene
- Collaborate with Head of Digital and other stakeholders to ensure seamless Optimizely → D365 lead and contact alignment
- Report on email metrics and make optimization recommendations
- Pull basic reports from GA4, Optimizely email analytics, and D365 leads
- Maintain simple reporting templates and dashboards in Excel
- Track KPIs monthly and support senior team members with deeper analysis
- Provide early-stage insights and provide recommendations, with coaching as needed
- Assist with paid media tasks such as UTM tagging, landing page setup, and QA
- Support pixel and tag placement with IT guidance
- Help internal teams with digital marketing needs and content updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field - preferred
- 4 years relevant experience - preferred
- Data analysis, project management & organization, Optimizely CMS content management, basic web design/layout skills, Excel and/or Power BI reporting, foundational SEO (including GEO and AEO), email marketing execution
- Optimizely CMS (content blocks, templates, media management), CRM basics (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI fundamentals, Google Marketing Tools (GA4, Google Ads basics), project management tools (Basecamp or similar), email marketing platforms (Optimizely Email Marketing), and the willingness and ability to learn AI-driven optimization tools.
