About the role
- Work across multiple teams to deliver exceptional, user-centric solutions
- Build new user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components
- Identify and solve complex user experience problems across multiple stakeholders
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers for rapid prototyping
- Advocate for quality, accessibility, and performance in web features
- Conduct design/code reviews and guide other engineers in best practices
- Provide design systems feedback and contribute components for company-wide use
- Mentor and advocate for other designers and engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in front-end or UI engineering
- Fluent in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS)
- Deep knowledge of browser fundamentals and performance tuning
- Ability to define reusable patterns and components for multiple product teams
- Passion for great user experiences with attention to design details
- Strong programming skills and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-team initiatives and influence without authority
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and UX trade-offs
- Self-starter thriving in fast-paced environments with ownership of problems
- Experience mentoring other engineers or designers to foster a culture of collaboration and quality.
