About the role
- Plan and execute high-volume remote outreach (phone, video, email) to assigned HCP targets and prospects to deliver approved core messaging and effective virtual sales presentations; maintain a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient coverage and attainment of territory/program goals.
- Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals.
- Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills, approved messaging, and approved promotional aids as needed.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to HCPs and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.
- Maintain full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and company/client policies (PhRMA Code, Code of Conduct, promotional standards, privacy/HIPAA); ensure patient confidentiality and promptly identify and route AEs/PQCs per SOP.
- Deliver approved core messaging using effective selling, listening, and negotiation skills; respond to needs and objections compliantly (no medical advice/off-label).
- Collaborate with field reps and cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Field Reimbursement Team, Training, client/project teams) to align on territory goals and handoffs.
- Log every interaction in CRM with accurate codes, notes, and attachments; ensure 100% completeness and legibility.
- Maintain current knowledge of product(s), disease state(s), and program resources; complete required training/certifications and participate in virtual/live meetings or conventions as needed.
- Complete required administrative tasks (reports, KPI dashboards, pipeline reviews) as scheduled.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or B2B sales required (at least 2 years)
- Documented history and proven track record of sales success
- Ability to explain complex medical information in a clear, concise manner
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual communication tools
- Independent, solutions-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial drive
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; strong virtual presentation skills when needed
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Willingness to work in all time zones if needed
- Complete all company- and job-related training as assigned within required timelines
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
