About the role
- Provides support to crew and management in dealing with general crew issues
- Formulates and recommends program goals to improve crew morale, motivation and satisfaction
- Maintains open communication between management and crew and serves as a mediator for problem resolution
- Coaches managers and crew on policies, programs and procedures and ensures adherence with organizational policy and labor law legislation
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of five years related work experience
- Employee relations or employment law experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- HR professional certifications preferred (SHRM-CP)
- Ability to coach managers and crew on policies, programs and procedures
- Knowledge of organizational policy and labor law legislation
- Must not require visa sponsorship (Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship)
